We are continually looking for the best linguists in town to deliver interpreting, BSL and translation services to our broad range of customers in the community. You will be working on a freelance basis at doctor’s surgeries, hospitals, schools, housing, social service departments, solicitors.
We also work with commercial organisations on international gatherings, offering face-to-face conference interpreting.
On completing each assignment, you should submit a Time Sheet which has been signed by the interviewing officer and send it to interpreting@hfls.org.uk.
Suitable qualifications include degree, NVQ Level 3 in Community Interpreting, Diploma In Public Service Interpreting (any option), Diploma in Translation (please list areas of expertise) and the Met Test (Metropolitan Police Test). Interpreters should include the number of hours interpreted in their covering letter.
